Midnight Oil is a coffeehouse located in Searcy, Arkansas that serves specialty coffee, lunch food and homemade baked goods. The house-turned-coffeeshop is an ideal location for studying, meeting with friends, holding business meetings, and of course drinking coffee or eating lunch. Midnight Oil was founded in 1997 and is now owned by the Kibo Group, a non-profit organization dedicated to working with communities in East Africa to reach their full potential, tackling poverty and injustice. Midnight Oil is proud to contribute their profits to global development.

Midnight Oil’s espresso and coffee beans are locally roasted by RoZark Hills Coffee Roasterie, located only 20 miles away in Rose Bud, Arkansas. Drinks may be made sugar-free, fat-free, with soy or almond milk, and/or decaffeinated at request.

The Kibo Room is a conference room available for reservations and seats a maximum of 12 people comfortably. Large airpots of any coffee blends or espresso drinks are also available upon request for meetings or gatherings.

Midnight Oil supports local musicians and artists. There are regularly scheduled performances by local musicians either on the porch or inside during colder months. Check out the Facebook page for details about upcoming shows. Art and photography by local artists is displayed throughout the shop.
