Our future goal is to be able to work in every country in Africa, but for now our efforts are focused on projects located in Kenya,
Uganda, Tanzania
and Rwanda. We want to target East African countries located near the Great Rift Valley in the shadow of our namesake. The hundreds of thousands of square miles represented in these nations and the millions of people who live in them present a formidable challenge for Kibo, and we hope to meet that challenge with strong devotion and diligent effort.
If you are working in other areas in Africa, take our ideas and suggestions and implement them where you are! If you live in one of these four nations and are interested in submitting a proposal, please note that Kibo accepts grant proposals every fall from September 1-31 and spring from March 1-31. We will notify you if you are accepted, or if we require more information prior to our decision. Unfortunately, proposals cannot be returned.
