Your Support Matters

Just a few of the things your money is going towards…

Mvule program:
4 types of tree seedlings for one village - $1,000
75 goats for one village - $3,605

What type of tree seedlings does the Mvule program plant?
Mvule…of course!
Musizi
Giant Lira
Fruit trees...like avocado

Lifeskills program: Sanitary pads & training kits
1oo girls - $673
50 girls - $337

What is in the sanitary pads kit? Cotton, wool, fabric, needle, thread, buttons, scissors, and patterns.

Why does Kibo teach female students and teachers how to make these and how to access their own future supplies? Often, female students will miss school during their menstrual cycle due to not having proper supplies that can lead to falling behind in school, embarrassment and potentially dropping out of school altogether.

Health Education program:
1 Mama Kit - $16.30
30 Mama Kits - $489
30 bars of soap for one village - $56

What is a Mama Kit? When Ugandan women go to the hospital to have their babies, they have to take the necessary supplies with them. This includes…gloves, clamp, surgical blade, cord, candle, baby soap, towel, blanket, baby’s outfit and cap along with other items.
