Help Kibo Group offset your carbon footprint by planting Mvule trees!

“A civilization flourishes when people plant trees under whose shade they will never sit.”

- Greek Proverb

Did you know that a single Mvule tree is capable of sequestering over 3.5 tons of carbon over the course of its long life?

If you would like to offset the carbon footprint of your flight, drive, or daily energy usage, donating trees for our Mvule program to plant in the Basoga region of Uganda is a wonderful way to do so!

You can use the carbon calculator below to determine how much carbon you need to offset for your household, a single trip, or your grocery shopping, and then make a donation at the bottom of this page. A donation of $1 is all it takes to plant a tree capable of changing the world!

One Mvule tree costs $1.00. Once you know how many tons of carbon you’d like to offset, check out the table below on the right to calculate how many Mvule trees you’ll need to purchase. When you are ready to make a donation, fill out the donation sheet, select “Mvule Community Sustainable Development” for your designation, and let us know you’re donating to offset your carbon footprint. We appreciate your support! Your donation can change the world!
